In 2009, our founder, Jack Delehey, was a high school junior who felt lost when it came to college planning. Fast forward to 2010, Jack was accepted to Vanderbilt University and had an amazing four years. However, he always had a nagging thought: “It shouldn’t require luck to have an outstanding college experience.”
This thought sparked a mission. Jack became obsessed with creating a new-era college planning system to help today’s high schoolers achieve true success without relying on luck. He took the sales, marketing, and advertising strategies he learned in the business world and applied them to the college admissions process. He created the proprietary ‘The Delehey Method™’, a “legal cheat code” that teaches students how to stand out and become the exact candidates that admissions officers are looking for.
Today, Jack Delehey is a college admissions expert, author, speaker, and the founder of CollegeConsulting.us. For the last fifteen years, we have 5,100 high school students across the country gain admission into their dream colleges. What started as a nagging thought has become a full-scale coaching program that walks students (and their parents!) through the college planning process with ease.
