It's okay to say NO!!

On my walk to class this morning, I was listening to a lifestyle blog that advocated for rsvp-ing no.

The host talked about an evening where she said yes to two events - a dinner with coworkers and attending a party her best friend was hosting.

She really wanted to go to both, and although she knew it would be tight, she rsvp-ed yes to both events.

She was having a great time at dinner, and instead of leaving, decided to stay with her coworkers and miss her best friend's event. Her friend called her the next morning telling her how upset and disappointed she was.

We have all been in situations like this - feeling like we have stretched ourselves too thin all because we did not want to say no.

Well I have a skill to work on, which will help you in every aspect of life.

Learn to say no.

And say it with confidence.

By being honest about your availability, you avoid stretching yourself too thin. This ensures that when you do say yes, you can fully commit to the task or event.
