We Care About Our Mission Statement - Here’s Why

At CollegeConsulting.us, our mission isn’t just words on a page - it’s the driving force behind everything we do. We are committed to being the United States’ most fun, motivating, and effective college planning resource for high school students (and their parents). Every part of our mission reflects a deep belief in the impact of college planning, and here’s why each aspect matters to us, and to the families we serve.

Making College Planning Fun

Applying to college is often stressful, but it doesn’t have to be. We believe that students perform at their best when they enjoy the process. By creating engaging experiences, fostering creativity, and celebrating every win, big or small, we make the journey exciting instead of overwhelming. From brainstorming unique essay ideas to celebrating each acceptance letter, we bring energy and enthusiasm to every step.

Motivating Students to Take Ownership

College planning isn’t just about getting into a dream school...it’s about helping students grow. We encourage them to take ownership of their applications, guiding them to discover their strengths and passions. We help them set ambitious goals, stay accountable, and push beyond what they thought was possible. More than just advisors, we’re their biggest cheerleaders.

Being the Most Effective Resource

There’s a lot of information out there about college admissions, but not all of it is helpful, or even accurate. We simplify the process by providing clear, expert-backed guidance that cuts through the noise. Whether it’s crafting a standout essay, building a balanced college list, or navigating financial aid, we make sure families have everything they need to succeed.

The Only College Planning Resource You’ll Ever Need

From the first college tour to the final decision letter, we offer comprehensive, personalized support. Families don’t need to spend hours searching for different resources...we have it all in one place. Our expertise, technology, and personal approach ensure that no question goes unanswered, and no student is left feeling lost in the process.

Building Lifelong Confidence

At the heart of our mission is this: college planning is about growing into the person who will thrive at college and beyond. Through our process, students develop real confidence, not the kind that fades once the admissions process is over, but the kind that sticks with them for life. They learn how to tell their story, advocate for themselves, and trust in their abilities. That’s the kind of transformation we’re most proud of.

Why Our Mission Matters

We don’t take our mission lightly. It’s a promise to students and families that we will be there every step of the way, making college planning fun, motivating, and effective. It’s why we show up every day, excited to help students achieve their dreams, not just for college, but for everything that comes next.

P.S. - Have a high-performing high schooler w/ a 3.7 GPA or higher? We'll help get them into at least one of their top 5 dream colleges...and if we don't get them into at least one of their top 5 dream colleges, you don't pay us a penny.  Seriously.  College admissions isn't rocket science...but it is a science.  And we've cracked the code...year, after year, after year.  You can learn more about our world renowned all-inclusive, start-to-finish college coaching here and to see if your family qualifies for an introductory call.

P.P.S - Our most common question is "When should we start?!"  The answer is, if you truly care about giving your high schooler the best chance of college planning success, you should start NOW. 9th grade is not too early to start! 10th grade is certainly not too early to start! And 11th grade is far, far too late! (supporting data here to show just how much of an advantage you give your child by starting the process early).
