A Look Inside Danielle and Talia’s Onboarding Call
We’re excited to share something special with you.
Last Friday, we released a new YouTube video that offers a rare, behind-the-scenes look into one of the most pivotal moments in our program—the onboarding call. This isn't a polished ad or rehearsed segment. It's a real conversation between our team, a student named Talia, and her mom, Danielle, as they took their very first step into the CollegeConsulting.us journey.
After the call, Danielle sent us a note that perfectly captures the heart of what we hope to bring to every family:
You’ll see the moment Talia lights up with excitement about the months ahead. You’ll hear our team walk through everything from timelines to values to mindset shifts. And if you’re a parent or student navigating the early stages of the college admissions process, this video might be the encouragement, or the clarity, you’ve been looking for.
Watch the full video here!
We’re so grateful to Danielle and Talia for letting us share their call. Their openness gives future families a glimpse into not just how we work, but why we do what we do.
If you have any questions or want to chat about what your own family’s version of this call could look like, just hit reply.
Best,
Melina Kazanas
P.S. - Have a high-performing high schooler w/ a 3.7 GPA or higher? We'll help get them into at least one of their top 5 dream colleges...and if we don't get them into at least one of their top 5 dream colleges, you don't pay us a penny. Seriously. College admissions isn't rocket science...but it is a science. And we've cracked the code...year, after year, after year. You can learn more about our world renowned all-inclusive, start-to-finish college coaching here and to see if your family qualifies for an introductory call.
P.P.S - Our most common question is "When should we start?!" The answer is, if you truly care about giving your high schooler the best chance of college planning success, you should start NOW. 9th grade is not too early to start! 10th grade is certainly not too early to start! And 11th grade is far, far too late! (supporting data here to show just how much of an advantage you give your child by starting the process early).
