Deep Dive: Our Head of College Coaching, Piotr

Name: Piotr Dabrowski
Role: Head of College Coaching @ CollegeConsulting.us
Background: Piotr brings
17 years of elite college admissions experience to the CC.us team, both from inside a college admissions office (St. Olaf College, MN / Cal Tech, CA) and outside one (Director of College Counseling, La Jolla Country Day School, CA; Director of College Counseling, Sage Ridge School, NV).

These experiences, combined with his international college planning work (College Counselor, Shenzhen College of International Education, China) provide him with a unique background and a wide-range of insights to be able to support students and parents, alike, on their unique, individualized college planning journey.

Some (of the thousands) of recent student acceptances include: Harvard, Dartmouth, Cornell, UPenn, Duke, Vanderbilt, UChicago, Georgetown, Notre Dame, UVA, NYU, Wesleyan, Boston College and yes…thousands & thousands more.

Students consistently relate to Piotr’s fun, yet detail-oriented demeanor. This mentality allowed him to excel as the Assistant Boys’ Volleyball Coach at La Jolla Country Day. He was even asked to perform in the school musical (which he did!).

When not supporting high schoolers in their college planning dreams, Piotr can be found snowboarding on mountains worldwide.

College Coaching Accreditation: NACAC, WACAC, ACCIS

At CollegeConsulting.us, we pride ourselves on having the highest standards & most rigorous college coach vetting process in the industry, only accepting those who have top 1% admissions knowledge, attention to detail, and personal standards.

Over 1 year ago, Piotr was the top-performing interviewee out of 86 college coaches who applied for the role of Head of College Coaching.  He has been a tremendously valuable asset to the team and continues to raise the bar in terms of what's expected out of a true leader and mentor.

To your college planning success,

P.S. - Have a high-performing high schooler w/ a 3.7 GPA or higher? We'll help get them into at least one of their top 5 dream colleges...and if we don't get them into at least one of their top 5 dream colleges, you don't pay us a penny.  Seriously.  College admissions isn't rocket science...but it is a science.  And we've cracked the code...year, after year, after year.  You can learn more about our world renowned all-inclusive, start-to-finish college coaching here and to see if your family qualifies for an introductory call.

P.P.S - Our most common question is "When should we start?!"  The answer is, if you truly care about giving your high schooler the best chance of college planning success, you should start NOW. 9th grade is not too early to start! 10th grade is certainly not too early to start! And 11th grade is far, far too late! (supporting data here to show just how much of an advantage you give your child by starting the process early).
