There is an optimal time to start college prep

For the last 15 years, one question has come up more than any other from the thousands of families we've worked with: "When should we start?"

It's a tough question. Some will tell you to start planning in middle school, while others wait until the stressful final sprint of junior year. There's a "too early,"and there is definitely a "too late."

To find the real, data-backed answer, we did a deep dive into one of our most successful graduating classes. We retroactively analyzed every student's profile to find the correlation between when they started planning and their results, dream school acceptances and scholarship dollars.

The data was unbelievably clear.

The sweet spot, the ideal time to begin a low-stress, successful, and money-saving college plan, is the summer between 8th and 9th grade.

In Jack's new video, he walks you through the charts that prove it and share the three biggest reasons why this is the optimal time.

And 11th grade is far, far too late! (supporting data here to show just how much of an advantage you give your child by starting the process early).
