Thomas is off to Vanderbilt!!

Thomas's story is one that I resonate with deeply.

Just like me, Thomas was also waitlisted and ultimately admitted to Vanderbilt University....and he is attending as a freshman in a few days (no words could possibly explain how jealous I am of him)!

If you want to read more about my waitlist and college journey at Vanderbilt, you can do so
here!

Now, back to Thomas.

This spring, with our guidance, Thomas gained acceptance into two elite Universities: UNC Chapel Hill (as an out-of-state student!) and USC (Southern California)

But after getting waitlisted at Vanderbilt, Thomas was DETERMINED to get in.

He followed our waitlist advice. AND Thomas's dedication payed off:

This is what Thomas has to say about his experience with CollegeConsulting.US:

"I joined the program at the beginning of my junior year because I wanted to get some guidance on the college application process. The program’s road map provided me with assignments to make me feel more prepared for the college application process. I felt like I knew what was coming and wasn’t caught off guard by any of the common app or college-specific deadlines. There was a clear timeline of things that I needed to do, so I was never super behind or lost during the application process. I think I was more prepared than many of my friends at school.

I think my favorite part of the curriculum was the ability to schedule private meetings with Jack and Piotr whenever I wanted to get advice on anything including essay writing, college application lists, and strategy. I’d recommend the program because it was a pretty comprehensive guide to everything related to college applications. The road map covered topics such as how to strengthen your profile as an applicant, deciding on your college list, and essay writing. And if for some reason you felt the road map didn’t answer one of your questions, you could easily schedule a meeting to speak with Jack or Piotr. I think I must’ve scheduled around two dozen meetings with Piotr for my essay writing. Lastly, I believe that had I not known the program’s advice for getting off the waitlist, I may have never gotten into my college of choice."

P.S. - Have a high-performing high schooler w/ a 3.7 GPA or higher? We'll help get them into at least one of their top 5 dream colleges...and if we don't get them into at least one of their top 5 dream colleges, you don't pay us a penny.  Seriously.  College admissions isn't rocket science...but it is a science.  And we've cracked the code...year, after year, after year.  You can learn more about our world renowned all-inclusive, start-to-finish college coaching here and to see if your family qualifies for an introductory call.

P.P.S - Our most common question is "When should we start?!"  The answer is, if you truly care about giving your high schooler the best chance of college planning success, you should start NOW. 9th grade is not too early to start! 10th grade is certainly not too early to start! And 11th grade is far, far too late! (supporting data here to show just how much of an advantage you give your child by starting the process early).
