A College Planning Case Study: From ‘Uncertain’ to ‘Supported, Encouraged, Accomplished’ in 7 Days

Meet Talia (pictured right, with her family).

This case study originally highlighted in July 2023

A long time ago, Marissa, a mother of a sophomore, booked a call with us in search of admissions support for their family. Similar to most families who schedule a call with us, they were slightly worried about navigating the confusing process and just wanted a stress-free journey for everyone involved.

If a family approaches us today with the same worry, we first direct them to our College Confidence Community. In that community, there are families all looking to support each other and several videos from various sections of our actual College Confidence Roadmap meant to make college admissions easy. Make sure to check it out.

But since our community wasn’t a thing then, we got them started right away and recommended that they join our College Confidence Program.

Since most families are in a similar situation with Talia, we figured we’d break down their situation to highlight exactly what our program does for students.

-
Who: Marissa, and her daughter, Talia
Goal: Stress-Free College Admissions Journey
Solution: Join the
4-Year, All Inclusive, Start-to-Finish College Confidence Program
-

Did it work? Well, let’s look at what Marissa said right after signing up for our program:

Love the excitement. College admissions should be exciting for all.

That’s exactly where we want our students to be after the first 3 sections: accomplished and excited for the future. Great job, Talia!

P.S. - Have a high-performing high schooler w/ a 3.7 GPA or higher? We'll help get them into at least one of their top 5 dream colleges...and if we don't get them into at least one of their top 5 dream colleges, you don't pay us a penny.  Seriously!  You can learn more about our world renowned all-inclusive, start-to-finish college coaching here and to see if your family qualifies for an introductory call.

P.P.S - Our most common question is "When should we start?!"  The answer is, if you truly care about giving your high schooler the best chance of college planning success, you should start NOW. 9th grade is not too early to start! 10th grade is certainly not too early to start! And 11th grade is far, far too late! (supporting data here to show just how much of an advantage you give your child by starting the process early).
