The Data Says Start College Planning Now

A common question families ask me is when is the best time for their family to start college planning. I always respond with something along the lines of as soon as possible. Whether you’re a freshman or a junior, now is the best time.

I always said that, but until recently, I didn’t have the data to prove it. It was more so an instinct to offer that advice than a fact. But as it turns out, I was right. The sooner the better, and now I have the data to back me up. If you’re interested in why starting early in college planning is better, this one’s for you.
